What does auto-enhance do?
Vizua finds the 1st and 99th percentile independently in the browser-decoded red, green, and blue channels, stretches each channel to that range, and applies a fixed 15% saturation increase. It is an automatic raster adjustment, not scene recognition, RAW development, or a color-managed correction.
Will it improve every photo?
No. The current tool applies one fixed-strength pass and does not expose an adjustment slider. Per-channel stretching can clip extremes, shift color, amplify noise, or make an already suitable image worse. Compare the full result and keep the source.
Is the enhancement reversible?
The source file is not overwritten; Vizua creates a separately encoded output in the same supported format family. JPEG and WebP outputs use a fixed lossy quality, while PNG uses lossless coding for the transformed raster. Metadata and profiles are not preserved.
