What EXIF Data Can You Find?

Every photo taken with a digital camera or smartphone embeds hidden metadata called EXIF. This tool reads that data and displays it in a clean table:

  • Camera: Make, model, software version
  • Settings: Exposure time, f-number, ISO, focal length
  • Date & Time: When the photo was taken
  • Location: GPS coordinates (if enabled on the device)
  • Image: Width, height, orientation, resolution

Frequently Asked Questions

What is EXIF data?

EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) is metadata embedded in JPEG photos by cameras and phones. It includes camera model, date taken, exposure settings, GPS coordinates, and more.

Which file formats have EXIF data?

EXIF is primarily found in JPEG files. PNG files do not contain EXIF data, though they may have other metadata. RAW files also contain EXIF but are not supported by this tool.

Is my GPS location safe?

Absolutely — Vizua processes everything in your browser. Your image and its metadata never leave your device. No data is uploaded to any server.
