Advertising temporarily disabled

Ad delivery and Google’s consent management platform (CMP) are temporarily disabled while the site is under review. The AdSense ownership meta tag and ads.txt remain published. Before any ads are served in the future, regional consent choices will be enabled.

Data processed when you visit

Running a public website still creates limited technical and usage data. We process only what is needed to deliver, protect, understand, and finance the service.

• Hosting and CDN logs may include IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or user-agent information, response status, and security signals.
• Google Analytics 4 may record page views, referrer, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, and aggregate tool events such as starting a tool, producing a result, or downloading it. These events never include image contents, file names, file sizes, or image metadata.
• When a tool failure is captured, Sentry may receive the page URL, browser and device details, error stack, tool, locale, route, and the selected file’s MIME type, byte size, and lowercase extension. It does not receive the file name or file or image content.
• On first use of OCR, the OCR engine, worker, core, and selected language data are downloaded from jsDelivr, a third-party CDN. The selected image is not sent with those requests; it stays on the device and is processed locally.
• Google AdSense may process cookies, device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, page context, and interactions with advertisements when advertising is enabled.

Advertising

Vizua uses Google AdSense to fund the free service. Depending on your region and choices, Google may serve personalized ads, non-personalized ads based mainly on the current page and approximate location, or limited ads with restricted data use.

Advertising systems do not receive the images you process. Ads are kept outside upload, preview, editing, and download controls.

Consent and privacy choices

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent platform presents the available choices before advertising or analytics storage is enabled. You may consent, refuse, manage individual purposes, and later reopen the privacy settings.

Outside those regions, Google services operate according to the applicable product settings and regional requirements. You can also control cookies in your browser and manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center.

Service providers and international transfers

We use Google Cloud for public hosting, Bunny.net for static assets and model delivery, Google Analytics for measurement, Sentry for error monitoring, and Google AdSense for advertising. These providers may process data in other countries under their own privacy terms and transfer safeguards.

Retention and security

Image files are not retained because they are not uploaded. Technical logs, analytics, advertising, and error data are retained by us or our providers only for their configured operational, security, reporting, and legal periods. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and data minimization, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request confirmation, access, correction, deletion, portability, information about sharing, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant record. Aggregated or provider-controlled data may need to be handled directly through that provider.

Children, changes, and contact

Vizua is a general-purpose service and is not directed at collecting personal data from children. We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change.
