Generate Six Common PNG Renditions
Vizua exports 16 × 16, 32 × 32, 48 × 48, 180 × 180, 192 × 192, and 512 × 512 PNG files. These cover several familiar browser, touch-icon, Android, and PWA use cases, but no single list is universally complete. Your project may also need an ICO file, a web manifest, maskable artwork, platform configuration, or different sizes.
Use Square, Legible Artwork
The entire source is resized into each square canvas. Non-square images are stretched rather than cropped, and the tool does not add padding or generate alternate simplified artwork for tiny sizes. Inspect the 16- and 32-pixel files at actual size; details that look clear in the source can disappear after reduction.
Deployment Is a Separate Step
The ZIP contains PNG images only. Add the appropriate <link> tags, manifest entries, filenames, cache policy, and platform metadata in your own project. Test browser tabs, bookmarks, home-screen installation, and PWA audits against the final deployed URLs.
Browser Processing
Image decoding, SVG rasterization, and PNG export run in your browser. The selected source is not sent to Vizua’s image-processing server, although the page can still request required assets and other site features. Source metadata and vector editability are not preserved in the PNG renditions.
Frequently Asked Questions
What files does Vizua generate?
The ZIP contains six PNGs: 16 × 16, 32 × 32, 48 × 48, 180 × 180, 192 × 192, and 512 × 512. It does not create favicon.ico, site.webmanifest, browserconfig.xml, maskable icons, or HTML markup.
What image should I upload?
Use a square source of at least 512 × 512 pixels or a self-contained SVG. Non-square sources are stretched to the square output, and very fine detail can become unclear at 16 or 32 pixels.
How do I add favicons to my website?
Reference the PNGs that fit your browser and platform targets with appropriate link and manifest entries. Requirements differ by site and can change, so validate the final set in your browsers, PWA tooling, and deployment environment.

Favicon Generator — Six Common PNG Sizes is designed for quick, repeatable work in a modern browser. The controls on this page let you prepare the result without installing software or creating an account.
How to use Favicon Generator — Six Common PNG Sizes
- Select or drop the file you want to process, or enter the information requested by the tool.
- Review the available settings before processing, especially format, dimensions, quality, color, or other details that affect the output.
- Inspect the result, download the new file, and keep the original unchanged in case you need another version.
Private by design
Your files never leave your device. All processing happens locally in your browser.
Tips for better results
- Start with the cleanest source available; a small, blurry, or heavily compressed file contains less detail to preserve.
- Check dimensions and format before downloading so the result matches the site, app, printer, or platform where you will use it.
- For large files, close unnecessary tabs and test one representative file before processing a full batch.
- Open the downloaded result once before sharing it or replacing an original.
